Pony O hair accessories were invented by Nicol Harvie because of an inability to wear conventional hair accessories. Just out of fashion design school in Toronto, Nicol invented her first hair accessory in 1987. She wanted a hair accessory that felt comfortable, wouldn't damage the hair, and would stay in any hair type. Nicol has been creating hair acessories and hairstyles ever since, styles that can be seen in such movies as Sleepless in Seattle on Meg Ryan, Message in a Bottle on Robin Wright, First Knight on Julia Ormond, and Phoebe on Friends. "I will see a hairstyle on a movie or TV, and I will find a way to do it easily with my hair accessories, without bobby pins and hairsprays." Pony O hair accessories are patented, trademarked, and copyrighted worldwide, and handmade in North America. Be sure to check out all of our easy-to-create hairstyles!
